Affiliate disclosure
This site earns a commission when you book through a tagged link, and the price you pay is exactly the same as if you had gone to the partner directly.
Who Pays This Site
As of August 2026 we participate in exactly two affiliate programmes. GetYourGuide sells every bookable tour, walk, day trip and entry-ticket product listed here and pays us a percentage of its own margin on bookings made through a tagged link. Trip.com does the same for accommodation links in the Where to Stay guide. The booking contract, payment and customer service are entirely between you and them.
That list is exhaustive: no sponsored posts, no paid placements, no display advertising, no "featured partner" arrangements, no other revenue. If a third programme is ever added, this page will name it before the first tagged link goes live.
How the Links Work
- They cost you nothing. Commission comes out of the partner's marketing budget. The price on their booking page is identical whether you arrive from here, from a search engine, or by typing the address yourself.
- They are machine-readable as commercial. Every tagged link carries
rel="sponsored noopener"in the page source and opens on the partner's site. The link carries our partner identifier, which tells them a referral happened and nothing about you. - Every price here is a dated snapshot, not a quote. Tables state their survey date — currently Aug 7, 2026. The binding price is the live one on the partner's page; where the two differ, theirs is right.
What the Commission Does Not Buy
It does not buy rankings and it does not buy silence. The rate is broadly the same whichever tour you book, which removes the incentive to push one. Products rated as low as ★4.0–4.3 are listed with the weakness stated in the row; comparison tables carry a do-it-yourself option we earn nothing on; tours that start in Rome are labelled as starting in Rome. Operators cannot pay or lobby their way onto these pages, and no partner sees our text before publication.
Links We Never Tag
- Links on this page. A disclosure that monetised its own examples would be advertising in a disclosure's clothing. Both partner names above are plain text.
- Refund, cancellation and support links. A refund request is not a conversion, and a reader with a problem is not a marketing event.
- Official sources. The park sells its €20 gate ticket directly and we earn nothing on it — which is why it is recommended across this site wherever it is the better deal.
